I like that ranking better than the AP ranking, but the writer uses the adverb "pretty" too much.

Oregon plays at Colorado this weekend.
People shouldn't overlook the possibility of Oregon losing that game and going to 2-3.
Right now, I'm guessing Oregon's moral is low after being embarrassed by Utah. If Helfrich is a good coach, he'll avoid the upset... BUT I think he is overrated.
Watch for that game.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

I think that Oregon might be seeing the initial stages of their demise. When the announcers described Mark Helfrich the other night, they made him sound an awful lot like Rick Neuheisel, and ultimately Helfrich inherited a system and got the job by default. It's year 3 and that seems to be when a guy who inherits a great program usually starts to lose it. The seniors who grew up under the previous guy are gone and now the program is his. Oregon just doesn't look the same. The defense is RichRod-like and the same devotion to fundamentals doesn't appear to be there on offense.

I won't even go out on a limb with this statement but osu and MSU are not the number 1 & 2 teams in the country. Not even close.
I don't know the math well enough in the BCS calculations and I think those come out at the conclusion of week 8 but it seems to me neither of these two teams should be in those two spots.
No brainer if osu looses to IU, they'll drop out of the top 10 (go Hoosiers!) and MSU just does not look solid in all phases to be a #2. They may both drop even with an MSU win and an osu win and damn well they both should drop.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Collectively, through 6 quarters of football, the #1 and #2 teams in the country are being outscored by Purdue and Indiana. Add to that, suddenly the number one and number two teams in the country don't look like the number one and the number two teams in the countryLast edited by lineygoblue; October 3, 2015, 05:08 PM.
