still laughing at this..
"I still don't know how (Texas) A&M was third in the country in total offense and scoring offense playing all those SEC defenses. I have no idea how that happened," Stoops said. "Oh, they got a quarterback. That's right."Grammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.

The SEC was probably a little deeper this year than last season, but they may not win a national title.
I don't generally rely on a single bowl result to prove anything. Collectively, however, the bowls have pretty much shit on ESPN "analysis" every which way. Invincible Bama. Stanford may actually be the best team in the country (eve after two f'n losses). Baylor is unstoppable (should be ranked ahead of OSU). General shitting on the B10 which isn't good but probably doesn't merit the enormous amounts of feces flung its direction all season.
Two recent comments suggest to me that ESPN analysts still don't get it. It's beyond me how Herbstreit can say that MSU hasn't faced a power back like Gaffney all season. Beyond me. It's also beyond me how Jessie Palmer can say that Clemson will be the most athletic defense OSU plays all year. Look, I'm no expert on defense, but the best athletes on the defense seem to, by and large, play in the secondary, i.e., "No Fly Zone". Seriously.
Michigan State should finish #2, IMO, if FSU wins. If Ohio State wins tonight, I think they would have a very credible shout for #3 (thought, I still like Watkins and Boyd to outscore Hyde and Miller). If that happens, would the narrative change going into 2014? Pshaw.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
