      • I have a feeling the title game will be FSU and Auburn. Criminoles vs. Payrolls.

          • I don't blame Orgeron for resigning, and being upset for not getting the USC job. He took Kiffen's mess, and actually made a decent football season out of it. He deserved the job. To me, the Sarkesian hire is Pat Haden's wishful thinking for a return to the Pete Carroll years. That ain't happening.

Easily could happen. Sark took a disaster up there and made them pretty damn decent. In Washington. He's recruited SoCal for years and will have 10X the talent at SC. Haden offered to keep Orgeron on the staff and give him a raise. Just because Kiffin totally fucked it up, and Ed O came and made it only respectable, doesn't mean he deserves that job for the long term. Hell no.

                • All they did at SC is flush twice. Its still a receptacle for shit. USC is the left coast's version of osu.

                  • State attorney in Tallahassee has press conference scheduled for 2:00 pm to announce the results of the Jameis Winston rape investigation. My guess is he skates because he's really good at football and "friends of the program" in law enforcement dutifully botched it a long time ago.

                    • OTOH, never underestimate the SEC. If he skates today, Winston could return to his apartment to find a dead hooker and a police officer waiting for him. Then ohio loses to Sparty and its Bama - Auburn, Iron Bowl II!! This time it's for REAL.

                      • LOL. Either way seems plausible. Alabama's only one state over. You know it's being tried.

                        • Winston walks. Somewhere in Alabama someone's gettin' shot!

Alabama fan shot in both legs after LSU game; says suspects taunted him for being Tide fan

The victim stated he stopped at the store to use the gas station restroom when two unknown male subjects taunted him about being an Alabama fan.

                            • Fair play -- he had it comin'. This one is less shocking than the example of Alabama Fan's inhumanity to Alabama Fan.

                              • The victim and suspects became involved in a physical altercation, when one of the suspects produced a firearm. The victim retrieved his gun from his car, and the suspect with the gun shot at him striking him in the leg. The victim returned fire.

At least they both had guns so they were safe and able to defend themselves
