But but but... The SEC is so tough. Espn told me so.

As I explained to my Tennesee friend a couple weeks ago, the SEC isn't dominating college ball. One man is dominating college ball and his name is Saban. Saban won a title with LSU, then Miles took Sabans players and won a title. Saban has won two titles with Alabama. Auburn cheated and won one and Florida won with Tebow. Saban is dominating college ball right now. Not a conference. Nobody was saying the Big 8 or Big 12 was dominating when we were winning. Last year in the bowl games we held our own against Georgia, Michigan should have beaten SC, etc: They aren't blowing teams out in bowl games.

      • After yesterday, I'd say that sentiment is pretty accurate. I'd add one name to dominating CFB right now.

        meyer.

Yes, yes, I know, the B1G sucks and has for a while but you can't say that 19 straight wins is something to scoff at.

I'd like to see a meyer coached team play a Saban coached team for the MNC. I'd actually have to root for the buckeyes just to shut up all the blathering SEC fans.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

        • This is UFM's third 20-game win streak (I guess he gets his last win at Florida for this one). That's ridiculous.

However, I doubt he is satisfied with the defense.

          • I still like M`s chances on the 30th and Meyer's 7 game win streak may look impressive by B1G standards but then Michigan is 6-1 for what it is worth.

For the record, it is important to swat down that crazy and erroneous talk of a longer Ohio win streak. You don't get credit for being banned and then unilaterally decide which games to count, but thanks for playing....85.7% of a full season ain't too bad.

At 2 loss LSU is still on the edge of the top ten despite losing to an I ranked team

You may be looking at last week's poll. AP has Auburn leaping up to #11 and ahead of A&M. Haven't seen a Coaches Poll yet

                      • Missouri is up to #5. Baylor #6.

I'm not sure how on earth Clemson is ranked as the second best 1-loss team.

                        • Clemson reputation as a "great team" was made the first week of the season when they narrowly beat Georgia. Since then they've beaten South Carolina State, NC State, Syracuse, Wake Forest, and (barely) BC.

They must be great because they beat Georgia. And Georgia must be great because they play in the same conference as Alabama, who they don't actually play.

                              • Georgia's defense is just really bad. It was ok when they weren't crippled on offense. Now they're in a world of trouble. They still have to outscore teams, but the offense is limping around.
