  • Yeah you didn't hear about that?

And to make matters worse, they tried to pass it off as something that the pilot did spontaneously after giving him general instructions to just fly over Southeast Michigan.

Dave Brandon thinks you (and everyone else in the fan base) are an idiot.
Here's a weird take on it. If you are going to go mark your territory in the middle of the other team's camp, have the stones to go do it personally. Drive up to E.L., whip it out, and literally mark your territory. It's just as low class but at least then you did it yourself instead of hiding behind others skirts.

    • I did that to a bench outside the horsedump in Columbus that was painted with that stupid leaf they have down there. And the PSU field. Should I submit my candidacy for the AD job when it opens up?

        • This wasn't some prank by a group of students, like shooting maize and blue paint balls at "Sparty" on the MSU campus. This was the head of Michigan Athletics, paying a skywriter to write "Go Blue" over East Lansing on game day. Don Canham would punch Domino Dave in the mouth.

          • It's utterly appalling. I don't know if it is a fireable offense, but this is pretty much the complete opposite of the image Michigan wants to project (and fails at so regularly).

              Is this 100% true?

                • Brand-on is a parade of embarrassments. He should be fired in an airport terminal as well.

It would be nice if Brandon were fired in an airport terminal. Or maybe in a halftime ceremony at the 50. But we don't have far to go, right? He's going after Carl Levin's senate seat, isn't he? We will all enjoy the schadenfreude if he loses, and exit polling reveals Sparties who recall this episode.

                    • Having that idiot as a US Senator or the AD at Michigan are both appalling situations. We need some sort of serious white collar crime to surface that would exclude him from either position.

                          • Honestly, ESPN spent 10 billion over the last 5 years broadcasting college football.

                            It has changed forever.

I assume many of the the other top 25 powerhouse programs have endured a similar financial reconciliation?

                            • Connie Mack, who owned and managed the Philadelphia A's for 50 years, said one time that the ideal team for him was a team that was in contention for most of the year but finished in about 4th place. That way crowds would come all year long and no postseason bonuses for his guys. Domino Dave strikes me as having a similar philosophy...do just enough to keep these Michigan Men phuckers off my back while I bleed them dry

                              • Unrelated news...while some Texas fans may celebrate Dodds stepping down, some somber news for them as well.

James Street, QB on the 1969 national title team and leader of the wishbone offense, has died. He also pitched for the Texas baseball team and led them to two conference titles
