Tressel's "punishment" was being forced to take a nice, massive severance package a few years before he was going to retire anyways. He hasn't been banned from the program ala Chris Webber from Michigan, and he is still worshipped in the state of Ohio. Damn. When I'm 60 years old, I'd love to get "punished" like that.

Really? If true, JoePa is gonna get no breaks in his portrayal by Pacino.
The family will be whining. Screw 'em.There all guilty of letting Joe get away with his silence.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. Polanski will rewrite the screen play. I doubt Pacino wants to play a nice old man. Someone more like Michael Corleone seems more likely.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. Nothing. Hinges on UNC right now. They go SEC, and it's a disaster for B10, IMO.
This is as much a war between Fox and ESPN as between conferences. I think that's what's prompted the B12 into action -- or so it would seem.
The guys on twitter have been wrong gads more than they've been right. They could be right now, but their track record sucks.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

What I've heard, SEC has been courting NC for awhile and they'd be in the SEC if the SEC were to have made a move in the last year. They are plan A and plan B for SEC expansion. SEC is in the middle of renegotiating its media rights with both tv partners and adding the SEC Network which is complicating expansion and their media deals as the SEC doesn't know how much inventory they'll have or even what inventory (universities they add) they'll have...
NC demands Duke to go along with them wherever they go and even brought up bringing NC State with them. Neither the B10 or SEC want NC State. Some rumors from another that this will all happen at once; NC, Duke, Virginia & GT all want to go to the same place (wherever that is) as a block and it'll only be together. It'll also only happen after Maryland sorts out its exit fee and after the SEC signs its new media rights deals which is expected to make the Pac 12 media deal ($25mil a year each) look small.

First time I've heard Duke mentioned. It's about time. I think I've read elsewhere that UNC doesn't want to bother being saddled with NC St.
If it's a battle between Slive and Delaney, I'm betting on Slive. But I'm not sure. The suggestion is that Delaney's been losing a lot of little battles over the years with this big battle in mind.Last edited by hack; January 21, 2013, 09:42 AM.
