I like replay, it overturns some plays that should be and in the NFL they get a lot of plays right that weren't on the field. In full motion, it's impossible to get every call correct and expect errors on whether someone caught a ball in bounds, whether a ball hit the ground before being caught or whether someone got the yardage for a first down. That's why you have the replay booth, to get the call right.
In the B10 (don't watch much games outside of B10), it seems that the booth never overturns anything unless it absolutely must be. Anything with even a hint of doubt, "PLAY STANDS AS CALLED." It's terribly frustrating to see the replay booth which has the advantage of multiple angles and frame-by-frame, slow motion neglect to overturn so many obviously bad calls. It's almost never that they overturn a good call, it's always the booth refusing to overturn a bad call.

I don't like replay when its used to over-officiate. For instance, when a receiver comes down with both hands under the ball, yet the ball "moves" a bit ... well duh ... a human being is falling down on a inflated football. There's going to be MOVEMENT.
Bottom line, replay should be used to correct OBVIOUS errors. It should not be used to nit-pick."The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

I think it's mainly older fans who wish they could be playing Pitt and Syracuse and their other old "rivalries". Which I can't completely fault. But my sneaking suspicion is that they cherish those rivalries so much, in part, because they would today be much easier wins.

Well against MSU (had you watched the entire game and not just the last series) NU got hosed on several calls...including a BS late hit which gave MSU 7 instead of a possible 3 points...so I call BS on that...that alone makes your argument BS...plus several other BS calls so take that shit and shove it up your ass. No offense. But please know what the fuck you are talking about before spewing absolute BS.Shut the fuck up Donny!

The penalty on Adams was a joke...it was an absolutely LEGAL block....clearly in front of the shoulder...what he's not allowed to hit someone behind the play chasing his runner? That puts the game out of reach. Roushar needs to be fired at seasons end...predictable, unimaginative....any more adjectives????

Blame officiating for loss
By Mark Ennis on Nov 3, 8:30p
Nebraska was the beneficiary of at least two questionable calls that shaped the outcome of their win over Michigan State. The first was a penalty that wiped out a touchdown on an interception return. The second, a pass interference call that kept the eventual game-winning drive alive.
