  • RE: the PSU TD/Touchback

Full speed looks like a fumble and touchback. Replay probably looks like a TD but not conclusive...the standard is conclusive evidence...not sure it was there but I still feel it was a TD...but as the replay rules are...it was the right call. Had it been ruled a TD on the field...it would have stood. That being said...a couple of notes...even if PSU scores a TD I still think NU wins...and second...ask PSU about 1982.
    Shut the fuck up Donny!

    • It looked pretty damn conclusive. Two hands on the ball and the ball 3 or 4 inches over the line. The broadcasters were very surprised that it wasn't called a TD as well.

      • Broadcasters don't know the standards for reversing a call.

        • You nailed it.....except that's exactly what they were talking about. Two hands on the ball. Ball clearly over the line. TD.

Your guys caught a break. Maybe Nebraska still comes back and wins anyway. It's hard to say.

          • The replay booth refs are afraid to change any call on the field, if it's anywhere close they'll leave it up to the officials on the field. It's getting really pathetic that those officials in the booth are afraid to make any changes other than the blatantly obvious. If it's anywhere even close, the call stands as called. Nebraska has been very, very fortunate the past FOUR games in a lot of ways.

            • If you are talking about the MSU games you need to watch the entire game dude...NU had many calls go against them.

Are you guys still pissed we kicked your ass?

              • You most certainly did no ass kicking in that game. Nebraska not only had the benefit of M missing their biggest playmaker on offense but had the extra benefit of facing a QB who had no business playing in a Div I football game. Bellomy 3 INT's (something like 3 of 16 passing) and many 3-and-outs gave your offense every opportunity against our defense, which actually contained you guys quite well when you needed to go the length of the field...

Your defense only looked good in that game because you knew we were going to run the ball on every 1st/2nd down. Pretty easy to defend an offense when you know what's coming.

                • This is what the B10 has become: a team that had 63 dropped on them by the Flagship squabbling with a team that needed a miracle hail mary to beat Northwestern at home. Good lord.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
                  Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

                        • Fear their receivers and OL too as their really good at holding without getting flagged.

Perhaps it's the bourbon on your cornflakes or much worse, that parallel universe where Meyer never nearly surrenders 500 to Indiana.

Matters little, no place to run come November 24th, bitches...as the real world smashes Bucknutters in the face.

Seeing as sticking his head in a boiling pot of piss is his pregame ritual, this could actually happen.

Everyone outside of Lincoln saw it as blatantly obvious, even on an old black & white tv (known as "Futuristic" in columbus) with bad reception.

The replay booth refs wanted an easy exit home and weenied out of making the correct call.

                                Sad but true.

I don't blame Nebraska for getting the win and I don't blame their fans for being happy. That was just a (twice) blown call.

Represent the B1G well in Pasadena, fellas!
