whoDean's is not a solid way to measure the quality of a defense, but it also wasn't hard to find another example of a team or a unit that sends a lot of players to the pros. I'm sure there's plenty of others too. And I bet that unlike this pair of teams this year, many of them played big games against QBs that could complete a forward pass.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no national champion. There are several teams that can make a case to be the mythical champion, but no team that stands above the others.
