Boise would have been bad for M.
Also, heh, lmao at UFM being the third biggest chicken shit scheduler in all of history! Ah, the things some M fans will say.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

They always play FSU, and occasionally had Miami. But you point is still the same. Nothing great OoC, but nothing particularly shameful.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

They took an easier road than most Big Ten teams.
They've played such OOC powerhouses as Furman, Florida Atlantic, University of Alabama-Birmingham, Charleston Southern, Troy State, Florida International, The Citadel, Western Carolina, and Louisiana Monroe over the past 10 years.
That's even worse than Alvarez."in order to lead America you must love America"

Theyve played virtually the same type of OoC as M. One good team and three wins. Except FSU has generally been better than Nd. Playing, e.g., Miami and FSU in the same season is pretty good.
Meh, you're not going to be objective about it. I hate Florida. They scheduled the same way before and after UFM. And its pretty standard stuff.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

They haven't played an OOC game out of the state of Florida in something like 20 years. I don't care if they played other good Miami schools. That's chickenshit. Not as bad as Kansas State and Wisconsin who were #1 and #2 (Wisconsin has gotten better).

Very sad, the 6-6 Meyer that Left Florida high and dry has been reduced to a mere shadow. The Field Marshal Rommel that kicked the shit out of OSU & Tressel in the desert is long gone....dodging any team with a pulse.?I don?t take vacations. I don?t get sick. I don?t observe major holidays. I?m a jackhammer.?

For, what, 15 years, no program was as good as FSU. Their streak of top 4 finishes is amazing. Yet, because they are in the same state as Florida, that's chickenshit scheduling. Meanwhile, south bend is probably about as close to Ann AA as tally is to Gainesville, but because you have cross state lines to get there, it's harder!
A more vacuous argument you'll rarely encounter.
The fact is Florida had basically always played a mediocre OoC - certainly equal to what M has been doing the last 6 or 7 years. Every now and again Miami was on the schedule making it a pretty tough schedule. Thats just a fact.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Exactly right. I think Florida (and OSU and M and many others) are generally in the 1 "big name" program and 3 tomato cans strategy. The strength of M's OoC rises or falls, at least over the past 6/7 years, with ND -- which means it generally falls a bit.
OSU's 2012/13 OoC schedule is horrid. It's one thing to schedule Miami years in advance and have them stink when you play them. But Cal -- meh. Garbage. But, it sets up nicely for UFM! WooooOT!Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
