Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Jim McElwain 'retired' today as Central Michigan's football coach. Central beat Western Michigan last night 16-14 for their first win at home vs Western in a very long time. The Chips have been destroyed by injuries this year, having to replace the entire offensive line, and last night they had to start the 4th string QB.
McElwain got the Chips into a couple bowl games at the beginning of his tenure, but the last 3 years have not been so good. This was probably a gentle 'nudge' out the door, so that the Central AD wouldn't have to fire him. "Retire, or be fired".
McElwain will remain at CMU in an advisory position. Doubtful he'll receive any new coaching offers.
I'd like to see Central make the first phone call for a replacement to Tony Annese, the HC over at Ferris State. Tony is a dogged recruiter, and has coached the Bulldogs to 1 National Title, and several appearances in the NCAA Division II playoffs.
Tony played HS ball here in my area at Corunna HS, and Corunna's football field is named after his dad, Nick Annese.
Annese's record at Ferris is 132-21"The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"

Hot take: IF Clemson defeats South Carolina next week, does the ACC get 3 teams in the CFP? Miami (FL), SMU, and Clemson. Never would have thought of that idea before today.
Today created a lot of opportunities for movement in the bubble area. We know who the elite teams are…AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill
