I saw yesterday that FSU is +16.5. It wasn't much better with Rodemaker still in the mix which indicates that as shitty as it is for FSU, the committee made the right call.

FSU has a couple other significant opt outs too. Such as their starting RB and star edge rusher. I will be shocked if FSU keeps the game close. Not sure if anyone else watched the Louisville vs FSU game, but QB Brock Glenn looked AWFUL. FSU had to roll out the wildcat formation in the 2nd half because of Glenn. Now he has to play against one of the most talented defenses in college football.
Highest confidence points going on Georgia to defeat FSU. No brainer.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

We're finally getting to some decent bowls at least. 3 games tonight between P5 teams and really good Alamo Bowl matchup tomorrow night with Oklahoma and Arizona. It sucks that all the good QBs are either opting out or transferring, though. The pre-bowl game ranking is probably more indicative/accurate for all the non-playoff teams and should be used as the final ranking of the year. OU will play a pretty good Arizona team without their QB who threw for over 3,600 yards and 30 TDs. Should a loss really drop them 5 spots or so in the final rankings? Same goes for a lot of teams.

SC is a 6-point dog vs Louisville tonight, I have $$ on SC
Louisville lead running back Jawhar Jordan and top wide receiver Jamari Thrash are not playing, but Jack Plummer is.
Redshirt sophomore Miller Moss will be the QB for SC

The ESPN predictor thingy has USC at like 73% to win but they're a 6.5 point dog. There's other similar examples of the prediction model being way off from the point spread. I don't know how the hell you guys are picking these games with any accuracy so kudos to you, Cody.

Louisville is ass. The only game I have seen of theirs is Kentucky (the Wildcats beat them) and Bama beat Kentucky by a gazillion.
USC isn’t great though and tons of players are jumping ship. Lincoln Logs has been a disappointment and I love that, considering how he left Oklahoma.
Still, give me the Trojans over Louie Veal."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

Virginia Tech ✅
West Virginia vs UNC up next. I’m picking WV because they have a clear opt out advantage. No Drake Maye. WV’s physical running ability SHOULD be a huge factor against UNC’s poor run defense.
For similar reasons, that’s why I’m leaning Oklahoma State over Texas A&M.
USC vs Louisville is tricky. I like what Lincoln Riley is saying and certainly there will be one upset today. Favorites have won 4 bowl games in a row after underdogs won 7 of 9.
