M is now the easy betting favorite to win the CFP and JJ is the Heisman frontrunner. And it's entirely correct -- probably undersells M a little. No team not in the NFL is beating HARBAUGH!!!! in 2023.
Now, next season? -- yeah.
But this season? -- I'd be surprised if they play a game that's closer than 17.

THOSE 4 ALMOST LOOK LIKE L;OCKS FOR THE PLAYOFF. NOBODY IS BEATING THEW TOP 2...OSU WILL END UP WITH ONE LOSS...FSU HAS AN EASY ROAD TO THE ACC TITLE.
IWHAT THOUGH....IF (AND A HUGE IF) PSU UPSETS HARBAUGH!!!!!!! AND M BEATS OSU...A THREE WAY TIE IN THE B1G EAST...WHO GOES TO THE CHAMP GAME? WOULD IT BE PSU? AND IF THEY WIN IT WHO MAKES THE PLAYOFF?
PSU would win the 3 way tie and represent the West in the championship game and presumably the playoff as Big Ten champ. That’s why OSU beating them was a good outcome in the grand scheme of things. A Michigan win in HV erases them from the equation.
In the 3-way tie, it's probably either Penn State or Ohio State. The tiebreaker is the combined conference record of the Big Ten West teams you've played.
So, Ohio State and M both play Minnesota and Purdue, so that's a wash. Ohio State plays Wisconsin and M played Nebraska. So, M needs UNL to at least tie Wisconsin for conference record. So, in theory, the B10 winner could come down to the UNL at Wisconsin game.
Penn State plays Illinois, Iowa and nFw. So, that was a terrible weekend for them in more than one way.
As it currently stands:
OSU 6-6
M 5-7
PSU 4-9
But, this is the silliest of all silly exercises. HARBAUGH!!!! is absolutely destroying both Penn State and CRD.

No, not currently and not necessarily.

Well, for Penn State...Minnesota-Iowa was a direct hit; Illinois-Wisky was a direct hit; UNL-Evanston High was a direct hit. All 3 could have easily gone the other way and all three went against PSU and, even worse, to the advantage of the rivals. For example, if the Iowa punt return stands it's"
OSU 5-7
PSU 5-8
M 4-8
If Illinois had managed to hang one against the Genius of Fickell:
PSU 6-7
OSU 4-8
M 4-8

Think about that -- if HARBAUGH!!!! somehow has a TCU game at HV, the thing that decides who goes to the B10 CG is an "illegal fair catch" sign that brought back the game-winning punt return for Iowa.

WOW. This flag got PICKED UP. I didn't see this finish Saturday night but I knew Washington was in trouble. 1-6 Arizona State (without an FBS win) was up 7-6 AT #5 UW in the fourth quarter and should have had first and goal after the blatant holding/DPI, instead the flag gets picked up and a pick 6 goes the other way for the winning score.
Joel Klatt had a good take on criticism of Michigan's schedule and used this game as an example (among others). Many teams are struggling to beat poor/mediocre competition. FSU, UW, and Texas just recently. Michigan takes teams like that to the woodshed. I mean, Arizona State's only win is 24-21 over FCS Southern Utah.
Holy shit I just saw this on an officiating board. I know the white hat personally...Jeff Daniels (not the actor lol)...horrible. Just horrible.
The PAC-12 officiating crews have been raided by other conferences in recent years...including the B1G...the level of officiating out there now from when I was there has really gone downhill. I'm guessing this crew has already been reprimanded...I need to call some people here to get some skinny...
