If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

A contiguous geographical footprint doesn’t really matter anymore for recruiting and really even for TV.
I hereby grant you any and all of the ACC teams you want. If they ask you who said it was okay, show them a printed copy of this post."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

Can these conferences start updating their name at least? Yes, Cal and Stanford in the Atlantic Coast Conference… The Big Ten has 18 members…. Makes perfect sense!
…
Last night had some pretty entertaining games. Tonight’s notable games look like:
- CMU vs Michigan State, 7pm EST, FS1. Pressure is on Mel to turn it around this season.
- Louisville vs G-Tech, 7:30pm EST, ESPN. Jeff Brohm’s coaching debut at Louisville. I still miss the fun days of Paul Johnson coaching G-Tech. Dumbassed decision to fire him.
- Stanford vs Hawaii, 11pm EST, CBSSN. Gotta root for Timmy Chang’s Hawaii to possibly upset what seems like a dumpster fire in Stanford.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Yeah. Oklahoma, Mizzou, and Texas aren’t really southeastern.
In the end, the BigTen needs to be the Behemoth Tremendous Conference (BT), and the SEC could be the Super Gargantuan Conference (SGC!, SGC!)"The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

I'm just going to come right out and say it....you people are all goddamn idiots. Strangelove only hangs out here so that he can, for the briefest of moments, get off of life's short bus. Congratulations asstwaddles.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

After watching last night, I am going on record as hating the rule change about stopping the clock after a first down.
I think there are going to be some confused fans when leads that would not have been safe under the old rules will now be locked.
I get that they want to speed up the game, but why does every proposal have to take away plays from the game.
A change that I would like to see is to shorten the play clock. Make those fat bastard linemen and primadonna receivers hustle back to the huddle and give us more football plays for our 3+ hours of watching. Of course that would never happen in the NFL because the players association wouldn't allow it, but in college? Hell yeahI feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

They are just taking more snaps away and adding more commercials. It does change the game when you need a late score with little time, more and more like the NFL. Just don't add that stupid 2-minute warning to add more commercials.

I always find something else to do during commercials. Cleaning, playing with the dog, or talking to people. Not giving commercials my time or attention.
…
Today’s schedule:
- East Carolina at Michigan, noon, Peacock. Duh.
- Ohio State at Indiana, 3:30pm EST, CBS. Most certainly a blowout, but this time slot is lacking games. Good opportunity to scout out Ohio State for the season.
- South Carolina vs North Carolina, 7:30pm EST, ABC. This is apparently called the Duke’s Mayo Classic. Quality game with Drake Maye vs ‘Beamer Jr. Ball’.
A little disappointed that most of the quality games are at noon. Like yeah, totally interested to see Deion’s Colorado just as entertainment value. Fresno State vs Purdue is a toss up game at noon too.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill
