I've got Bama, UGA, M and Utah. Utah is fielding probably it's strongest team ever...and they beat USC twice last year.
Ah, didn't know Utah was looking so good. They could be a good dark horse candidate. Wouldn't surprise me for the PAC-X to get a sympathy selection if records are even, say a 12-1 Utah over 12-1 Clemson or FSU.
They open with Florida at home...play USC and Washington on the road...toughest 3 games they have...I say they go 2-1 in those...win the P12 title game...and sneak in ala TCU.
They should handle Florida at home and split the other two. They might have a chance to play their way into the playoff by winning their CCG like USC last year.
But I thought some Alabama fans were certain that Ty Simpson > Drake Maye a few months ago… 🤣
My CFP prediction is:
1. Georgia
2. M
3. USC
4. Clemson
Yes, Cody, I said that Ty would be good. I was wrong. It was the unbridled optimism of a fan who always tries to look at things through a positive lens. I’m guilty as charged.
Bama will be 8-4 and playing to redeem a shred of dignity in the Music City Bowl this year. Not even kidding. The writers and pundits always overestimate Bama and even with that, virtually no one has us in the CFP.
The dynasty is over. Dead. Bury it and say the eulogy.

As for UAT, they seem to be struggling on the recruiting trail. Lots of lower rated guys and the higher ranked ones are obvious BGTC players. I'm not sure how far downward UAT must recalibirate expectations -- I'm thinking aTm or maybe Arky-levels -- but there's no doubt a downward recalibration is a must.
The only question for this year is how many TDs will HARBAUGH!!!! obliterate Kirby by? Will it be worse than the UGA-TCU game?
And on a personal note, Alabam"Alum" has been a long-time contributor of stuff to this forum and done wonders to modestly tamp down well-earned prejudices against the Irish, Scots and Mississippians. Of the many posters we've encountered, he is definitely one of them. So, please, let us show grace in this trying time for him as The Nick ebbs into the shadows of CFB history.
Every M unit is better than every OSU unit except MAYBE wide receiver. So, I'm not sure how M could be anything other than a much bigger favorite to win the CFP than OSU's shitty ass team.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
