Those midweek women's lacrosse games will be fun.

        • Because the only thing more ridiculous than an 18-team Big 10 is having two teams near the Pacific in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

            • Its bad enough that the large revenue sports teams will have to travel cross country for games, but then when you consider things like gymnastics teams, or tennis teams making the midweek cross country trip for a tennis match or gymnastics meet, its going to become ridiculous. How thrilled is USC's tennis team going to feel about coming to Bloomington Minnesota on a Wednesday to play a 3 hour match against the Gophers?

How about Duke's women's lacrosse team heading out to Stanford to play a Thursday contest? The travel miles are going to be staggering. Liberal universities are going to have a cow over the 'environmental impact" or the "carbon footprint" of these trips.

The easy fix is that when a west coast team goes East is to play 3 teams. Of course this could only apply to sports where you play more than once a week
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

                • Hell, we've all mastered the "work from home" thing. Why not apply those principles and play most sports via Zoom calls?

                  • Just saw that Clemson and Oklahoma scheduled a home and home for 2035 and 2036. LOL. Don't they know they'll both be members of the Uniconference by then?
