Waiting for 2023.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

M clearly deserves to be ranked ahead of Ohio State. That's not hard. Results matter.
And, yes, I'd rate M ahead of TCU, but, again, I think I can excuse away M's loss waaaay easier than I can excuse away OSU's loss to M.
That said, I do very much believe Ohio State (and maybe Alabama) are the teams would be in the coin flip range against Georgia.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Who gives a shit about the rankings? Is anyone other than the biggest sports geeks going to remember who finished where behind GA. Most people couldn't tell you who was #1 three years ago.I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

It's why the NFL is so much better than college football. They have playoffs with clear rules on who makes it, no committees to determine the participants and absolutely nobody argues after the Super Bowl who was 2, 3, 4. The endless arguments about teams in college football is so tedious.

If that means you have to watch Tommy Tantrum host a playoff game with a subpar team, so be it.

And you have essential parity in the NFL. The NFC East is on the same plane as the AFC West, etc., but the BigTen and SEC are completely different worlds than the SunBelt, MAC, and CUSA."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
