Well, "acting like you've been there" doesn't involve claims of a blowout of an upcoming opponent. Teams and players that have been there don't boast but rather rationally and respectfully assess, particularly in public. You two are in public and setting yourselves up for to eat a colossal bowl of dick predicting M is going to "obliterate" TCU.
And, WTF? I mean, what are you two basing you claims on? Feelings ball? ..... or "I just know." BS. You don't. Neither do I but I sure as shit ain't trotting out here and making outrageous predictions that just aren't supported by rational analysis.
I do think M will win but it's going to look like M playing a team similar to Purdue but with way better athletes. TCU (and Dykes) will do a better job of maintaining contact throughout the game and the longer that happens, the greater the chances tht TCU pulls an upset. Purdue (and Brohm) lost contact with M at the 12:37 mark of the 4th quarter when Brohm raised the white flag following an 8 play drive to M's 22 where it was 4th and 6 and Purdue kicked a FG to make it 28-19. The dagger came 3 plays latter when MCCarthy hit bell for a 27y TD and then hit Schoonmaker for the 2 pt. conversion to make it 36-19. Game over.
The numbers I'm looking at tell a story of TCU that is a correctly ranked top 10 CFB team. I agree with AA this is not the 4th best team in CFB but, you know, I know, that's the CFB Selection Comiittee way or ranking them. The ranking has something to do with by-the-numbers performance on the field but not entirely. I'm fine with that. The Fiesta Bowl will be a lot closer game than either of you two are saying it will be - nonsense.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
Wait, you liked my post arguing for rational analysis not unsupported boasting of obliteration ..... then you say M is going to "nuke TCU from orbit," giving kiss ass talent an opportunity to like that post. What's it gonna be? Rational analysis or irrational boasting?

Deal with it fuckers ......Liney will be right with me.

I can “like” something without necessarily agreeing with it. I like the mental gymnastics that you guys are coming up with to make a middling TCU team into more than they are.

I'm with you if you believe that TCU will be a tough out, rather than a blowout victim.
I believe Michigan should win, but I've also witnessed Michigan's post-season record for the larger portion of my life, and I know they have a history of falling flat on their face. I'm hoping that trait is one that is falling aside, as many other traits have fallen aside for the last two seasons.
When it comes to comparisons, I think TCU would have ran away with the BTW. I think they'd have been in the fight for 2nd in the BTE. They have an excellent QB. Their RB is every bit as good as Edwards. Their defense is stingy against the run.
I don't see the pending blowout that many of you are on record with.
