Not everyone can have a top notch OOC like Michigan. Bama’s SOS was 9th. That wasn’t an issue. The issue was dropping two games. Win either and we’re in. We didn’t. We can line up a dozen excuses as a salve to our egos but that shit is irrelevant. Loser balm.

Bama lost twice and didn’t get in. That was the reason. No other. I wasn’t a fan of the Saban appeal, but that’s become the ESPN way. Teams on the periphery making an appeal to be included. It’s silly. I really think it’s so the players can see that their coach lobbied for them. I still don’t like it. But I wasn’t consulted.

Anyway, there are lots of teams that can, IMO, legitimately claim they’re better than TCU. Penn State is better than TCU. They’re a trash CFP team and will continue the B12’s storied history of never winning a CFP game.

BTW, teams that have won a CFP game: UAT, Georgia, LSU, Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon. If you say more than one then Oregon drops off.
