  • I couldn’t even remember who TCU played OOC. A horrifically bad Colorado team, Tarleton State (lol), and SMU. And they did about as well against SMU as Maryland did

    • Yeah, their OoC was maybe worse than M’s
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
      Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

      • No Nick or Dabo Ohio State when you sneak in through the back door that's what you should find waiting.

        • This is in fact the first playoff with no Bama or Clemson

          • USC had best season in a while but ends it by getting blown out by Utah and sent to the Cotton Bowl to play Tulane.

And it feels like the poor Cotton Bowl has had to suffer lots of these shitty matchups in recent years

            • Tulane? lmao You go from P12 Champs and playoffs to obscurity. Love it!

              • Tim Beck, who most Buckeyes fans hated while here in the mid Urbz years, is the new head coach at Coastal Carolina. Jamey Chadwell bolted there for Liberty, which seems like a very lateral move to me but ((shrug))

Reminds me of Kansas State in 1998...beat A&M in the B12 CCG and you play for a Natty...they lose and go to the Alamo Bowl against 7-4 Purdue. And they lose.

Got to be furious lol. Washington, UCLA, and Oregon will probably end up with better opponents

Decent OC...he was at UNL with Pelini...but he was replaced by Shawn Watson who elevated our offense. He was a better RB coach than OC. Not sure what kind of HC he'll make.

Beck is another part of that seemingly endless Youngstown mafia that’s connected to Pelini, the Stoops brothers, Tressel, etc etc

lol at both of them. This is the system that they wanted. It sucks and, now, they’re on the outside looking in. At least the BCS had interesting games. So pound sand.

What? This is absolutely NOT the system Bama wanted. Bama fans were BCS fans (or coalition fans before that) and were anti-playoff. Ditto expanding the playoff - even if it means that we would be in an 8 or 12-team.

                              • And for that matter we were fine before the BCS (and coalition). The people who were fans of a playoff were teams that never got a BCS invite or haven’t won a full championship since World War II.
