  • ND's best win is Wisconsin. Or Purdue. STFU.

Notre Dame has last-second wins against the likes fo Florida State, Virginia Tech and TOLEDO. STFU.

Notre Dame lost at home by 11 to the #4 team in the country (they were drilled in that game). STFU.

Georgia has wins over two teams in the CFP top 25. That's two more than ND has. STFU.

Georgia's lost was on a neutral site to the soon-to-be #1 team in the country. STFU.

It's not fucking close. And it's not fucking close between Georgia and UC for #3.

I understand this is all an elaborate way to say that M desperately doesn't want to play Georgia, but, again, that proves the point.

    • I’m seeing that Alabama would likely select the Cotton Bowl if they are the #1 seed. Meaning, M plays in the Orange Bowl (Miami) … in Stephen Ross’ stadium.

Orange Bowl / Miami is definitely the bowl game I want for M. No doubt.

We’ll start to see bowl game matchups in a couple hours…

      • Yeah, for sure. UAT-Cincinnati in Dallas and M-Georgia in Miami. And since the SEC is trash, Cincinnati-M in Indy.

STFU....... or go ride your bike to clear your mind.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

            • Notre Dame might be Notre Dame, but they are fucked. No way Georgia goes down to #5.

Yeah, long shot for sure but man that would be sweet. The howls of protest from Dawg Nation would be worth their weight in gold. Gold, I tell ya.

                • 1. Michigan
                  2. Alabama
                  3. Georgia
                  4. Cincinnati
This would be a hilarious big middle finger to the SEC, so I’m rooting**** for it.
Though… as mentioned last night… anything outside of #1 Alabama vs #4 Cincinnati, #2 M vs #3 Georgia would be very surprising.

#2 M vs #3 Georgia Orange Bowl. Happy to be here! Very grateful as a fan.

                  • I'm not sure what's going to be easier for the CFP -- putting M at #1 or keeping UC at #4. But, either way, I fully expect M to play Georgia and UAT to play UC.

                    • Yep, they don't want the rematch is the real reason.

                        • LOL .. it might be one of the best comedy acts in the history of sports if the committee moved ND into #4, and left out Georgia. I think the state of Georgia would probably slide into the Atlantic. Only thing bad about that is if we wanted to drive to Florida in the future, we'd have to go thru Alabama instead. Not a good trade.

I'll be shocked if its anything other than Bama, JawJa, Michigan and CincyTucky. The two SEC teams get favorable seeding into the final. The NCAA is all about the SEC.

                          • If by "favorable seeding" you mean they get to play non-SEC teams, then I agree.

                            • I'm going to be fine with whomever the NCAA puts in front of Michigan. Put them with Georgia in Miami, and lets play the game. I'm fine with that.

Everything from this point on is house money. Michigan was supposed to end up begging for a bowl game this season. Instead they are without a doubt one of the top 4 teams in the country. Nobody here had them that high, even in our wildest dreams. If Georgia hammers Michigan by 3 TD's, then fine. Georgia can go get whupped by Bama again. I'm still proud of what these Michigan kids accomplished this year.

I'm hoping this season lights the flame that begins a new age of tough, competitive Michigan football.

The CFP committee's choice boils down to this: better to take the medicine in the first round with a UGA-Bama rematch, or risk an all-SEC rematch in the finals? The 2011 BCS Bama-LSU rematch got bad TV ratings. Guessing they split UGA and Bama, but you never know.
