I don’t know how much you’ve paid attention to the CFP when M wasn’t a player, but the loser of a big SEC game doesn’t fall far.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

    • This game is over. Saban probably got a call from the SEC Commish to make it look close.....

      • And look, the reason 3/4 and Georgia/Cincinnati is such a big deal for M fans is that they’d much rather play UC. Which is my point.

        Georgia at midfield.

Loser and how they lose is two different things. UGA's staple is their defense and they got destroyed.

            • False start. They almost have to punt.

Should be an easy game for M, then

                • UGA doesn't see the ball with the time needed to score twice.

??? If UM loses, they are out - plain and simple.
ND walks in, Cinci and the two SEC teams.,

                    • No, when M rails Iowa they’ll play the Georgia team you think isn’t as good as UC. Should be an easy win.

What UM does is irrelevant, they won't reach #1.
ALA throttling UGA guarantees they get the #1 spot.
UM stays #2 - no matter what they do.
Cinci should move to #3. Not saying they are the 3rd best team in the country - but UGA didn't do enough to stop the fall to #4.
UGA was always guaranteed to be in - they weren't guaranteed to have to play ALA again......

                        • I think the CFP will rank UGA and UC based on which team they think is better. And they should. And Georgia will be #3 IMO. We disagree. We’ll find out soon enough.

                          • The way UGA got throttled, it's hard to see keeping Cinci where they are for a 3rd straight week.
You seem to forget they leapfrogged UM multiple spots over Cinci and ND below OSU - for no real reason other than to set up a scenario that could lock UC out.
                            Houston spoiled that.....

                              • Georgia should get the fourth seed so that we can get another 41-24 rematch in the first round.
