  • I'm asking bub. I've read the excerpts but haven't seen anything pinning the NCAA investigation on Carr?

When you read the book, you'll have more information.

              • Damn, it's Penn State's last home game of the season, Joe Paterno send off, changes the damn line of the game! He should resign or be fired IMMEDIATELY, this is simply ludicrous.

I'm interested in talking about this. Lots. But not with people who elect to remain uninformed and yet still think they know what they're talking about.

                  • "Horsing around" is just JoePa's way of keeping his former DC on campus and around the program which of course allowed him to offer young boys an "opportunity" to tour the Penn State Locker Room, sorry Joe you have dirty hands in this mess, so long.

                    • I don't see how Paterno can coach any more this season, even in the faux role he's been in over the past 4-5 years. He's got to be available for pre-game pressers, post-game pressers, etc. He is already obviously showing signs of senility, and having the mob of reporters hitting him with "when did you stop beating your wife" questions, it would just be a madhouse.

                      Joe needs to leave now.

                        • If they let Paterno coach another game, the university and the community at-large take ownership of this scandal. They can no longer claim that they have no part of it.

                          • While Penn State covered this up, it fell to a young boy, ( one of Sandusky's victims) to make sure it didn't happened to other Children. Wow, lawsuits are on the way, While joePa gets sent off in a "Triumph" by their moronic fan base.

"He's a brave kid," the woman told the newspaper. "And his major concern in the whole thing was for anybody else. That was his big thing. He said, 'I just don't want this to happen to anybody else.' "

The mother of one of the eight boys alleged to have been sexually assaulted by a former Penn State assistant football coach praised her son for his courage and concern for the other alleged victims and said the university could have prevented the abuse.

                            • I would think Schiano would jump at the job. He left PSU in 1995 so it would seem he is not linked to this scandal in any way, at least yet.

                              • Actually, now that you put it that way, that almost makes him a non-candidate -- the legal and PR departments would insist on a clean break from all elements of the past regime, I'd guess.
