It doesn't really matter except that there are a lot of people that want to link homosexuality to pedophila and the two have nothing to do with each other. A majority of the people Dahmer killed were male prostitutes (much like other serial killers have hunted female prostitutes--prostitutes always make easy targets) and there is nothing to suggest that he specifically hunted out young children even though a few of his victims were younger boys.

There is no doubt that he was one sick fucker.

I'm not clear on the age of the kids Sandusky was abusing. Were they mostly high-school aged kids? Or has that not been reported? From a legal standpoint it makes no difference, but it does make a difference in trying to analyze Sandusky from a psychological viewpoint.

Paterno's going on with his regular weekly press conference tomorrow but PSU is already warning the media that no questions regarding the scandal will be answered. I don't think this will go well

Alabama only falls to #3 in the BCS, its quite conceivable Stanford could lose to Oregon and Oklahoma St. to Oklahoma setting up a rematch in the title game.

I don't think anyone outside of bammy wants to see that again. They lost at home and should not leapfrog over any undefeated teams.

Agree, if Okie State or Stanford remain undefeated they are first in line...but both have stiff challenges ahead, Boise doesn't count.

I like Joe Pa. I hope he's not in this as deep as it's starting to look. I don't really want to see his tenure end this way. But it'll be what it'll be.

I AM enjoying watching the self-righteous amongst the PSU fanbase in anguish. They treated Paterno like the Pope and swore their school could do no wrong.

Just saw a clip of Sandusky outside his house talking to someone from ESPN. Penn State will be pleased to know he was fully clad in Nittany garb

Even if everyone else loses a game, Alabama should have zero chance of a rematch with LSU in a title game. This was set in stone in 2006--rematches will not be allowed and are bad for college football. The SEC was at the head of the pack proclaiming this.

Unless it was never about rematches and they were just whining because the rematch didn't service their personal interests. Hmmm.

If that scenario happens, we'll get to see just how many SEC coaches are outright hypocrites. I put the over/under at 80% hypocrites.

I didn't feel this way at first, but after a couple of days of the story sinking in, it has become obvious IMHO that JoePa needs to go right now. He shouldn't coach another game. I don't understand how Mike McQueary can stand on that sideline after witnessing what he witnessed, knowing that his bosses let a child rapist off the hook, and that wasn't the first time that it happened. If Penn State doesn't do it, then either the Big Ten or the NCAA need to step in and do it if at all possible. I don't take any pleasure in this as I have always liked Penn State and Paterno

I was beaten to the punch by a couple of minutes. It looks like Paterno has coached his last game. Sad to see his career end like this and to see his legacy tarnished.
