      - Jimbo won a national championship, made A&M relevant, and won at FSU.
      - Mario has done a fine job at Oregon.
      - Mark Dantonio was incredible at MSU.
      - Lane Kiffin, Mike Locksley, TBD.
      - Derek Dooley, Jim McElwain, Jeremy Pruitt, and Will Muschamp... all bad. Though Muschamp deserves a job as a DC somewhere.
-Kirby after 5 seasons at Georgia: 52-14; Mark Richt after 5 seasons at Georgia: 52-13.

-Jimbo’s first 5 years at FSU were good. Bowdenesque even. His final 3 years he was a combined 25-12. He is 25–10 so far at TAMU. So, 50-22 his last 6 years of coaching, or LESS than a 70% win%.

-Mario is .735 at Oregon. Decent, I suppose. Not Chip Kelly good, but better than Helfrich.

-Dantonio was .667 at MSU. That’s decent for MSU, I guess. Nothing earth shaking, though.

      • What are the chances of Herman and Sark simply replacing each other?

        • Pollack is reporting that he has heard that Sark turned Texas down. Hope he’s right.

Forget OC. Charley Huff could do the job. DC is a problem. If Tennessee fires Pruitt, I would love him back. Even with no DC experience, Herman would be a better DC than Pete Golding. That includes Tom Herman, Herman Melville, Herman Goring, Herman Cain, and Herman Munster.

              • Doc Holliday forced out at Marshall despite being consistently successful and was just CUSA coach of the year. Some bigtime political machinations going on behind the scenes. Apparently the Governor of West Virginia himself was involved.

                • He’s a good coach. Not sure what politics are involved.

                  • Supposedly the Governor has been wanting them to rehire Bob Pruett for years. Dude is pretty old now though.

                    • DON BROWN!!!! will coach at Arizona. Probably not much work for him to do there as they're already giving up 70 in a rivalry game.

                      • The bar is very low in Arizona. Brown will be able to coach well enough to get 8 or so wins each year in the not-so-tough Pac 12.

I like Don Brown. He's a good man, and his players respect him. His defense works well when he has the right people. The problems at Michigan were not totally his fault. I wish him well.

                          • You know, Talent, I'm scrolling past most of your promotions of osu football. I may not care about M football today but I sure as shit don't want to read you or AA's boasting.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
