Ostensibly this was due to Kelley's whine that he wouldn't take his team to the CFPs unless family members were allowed to attend ...... that was before aTm became the fave to replace the Irish after they got trounced by Clemson yesterday.
Texas, a sensibly COVID liberal state says family members can attend. I'm not sure the economic hit to Pasadena is that large given Governor Newsom's approach to COVID or shut everything down and lock everyone up. But it can't be small. I still believe its Jerry's plan to have the whole thing at his facility one day. Play the 2 semi-finals on the same day, then the final the week after. He has a 100K seat indoor stadium located in basically the middle of the US.
