        • Such a choke. At least we won't have to waste our time on seeing Oklahoma lose again in the Playoff this season!

Last year, OU lost to K-State in week 8 by a few more points than this year and the committee still put them in the playoff. They seem to love the Sooners.

            • OU's been lucky with the timing of their bad performances-- they've usually given themselves time enough to recover in the polls. But the turnover problem they had today...that's the kind of thing that's tough to shake with a freshman QB, even a really good one.

                Committee has loved OU...

I guess A LOT can happen. It's tough to suffer such an ugly loss this early in the season. Kansas State lost to Arkansas State and was down several players in this game due to COVID. Think it will take a miracle because OU will probably have to win out + get a ton of help. OU with a freshman QB, crappy OLine, and crappy defense... don't like their odds.

                • VT is missing 23 members of the team tonight against N.C. State, including their starting QB. They're also missing their new defensive coordinator, Justin Hamilton, who is also in quarantine. Woof.

                  • Texas Tech had a 99.9% chance to beat Texas after scoring on a 75-yard touchdown to take a 56-41 lead with three minutes left.

Texas 63, Texas Tech 56 is your final in overtime. Gotta love Big 12 football...

                    • Looks like the first Big 12 team that learns how to play any defense at all will win the conference.

                      • They won’t figure it out. Someone will win by default. I was going to make a joke earlier about the Big 12 defenses being in midseason form.

In unrelated news: Florida State, yes the Seminoles, are on the fast track to irrelevance. Like NC State will look forward to playing them...

                        • Down 23 players and two defensive coaches, and at times down to their third-string QB, VT went up 17-0 halfway through the first quarter, rushed for over 300 yards, didn't commit a turnover, and breezed to a 45-24 win.

This game makes no damn sense sometimes.

                          • NCS is garbage. Makes perfect sense.

Their recruiting started tailing off near the end of the Jimbo era there. Kids they normally would get are going to the Gators, Bulldogs and of course, Bama.

I see that Texas has employed the Oklahoma method of defensive strategy. Basically, its the defense telling the offense to score at least 60 points, or we lose.

                                make that 2-506
