I think CMU also deserves some congratulations on their excellent season, having lost all their conference games last year, and then having the turnaround this year of winning their division. Coach McElwain is the MAC coach of the year, and deservedly so. CMU has now established that they are a team and a program that is on the upswing, and its good to see. With the ongoing upgrades to the facilities in Mt. Pleasant, CMU is going to be a desirable place for MAC level players to land.
Miami had their number today. It happens. CMU was projected to finish at the bottom of their division. Shows how much the writers know.

I watched most of it on TV until the Big 12 championship game got interesting. I suppose CMU blew the game. Their offense didn't do squat in the 3rd period. I still think there is a lot there to build on for next season. Keeping McElwain is important. Hopefully he was telling the truth when he said he wanted to remain in Mt.
