  • Pretty damn good game last night--almost rooting for greenbay to stuff detroit on that last 4th down campbell went fro--seemed awfully stupid for Campell to risk it all to move up 5 yards just so you could run out the last 30 seconds. let alon gpoing for it on 4th and 3 inside your 30
    Shut the fuck up Donny!

    • The only one I thought was a bad idea was the one at their own 30 and the play call was awful.

      • Had Campbell taken the FG with about 35 seconds left, he apparently felt that Love could still get GB into FG position themselves, and maybe get a winning TD. He didn't want Love to get the ball again at all.

It worked out well for Detroit.

Bob Seger was at the Lions game on Thursday. I wish the Lions could talk him out of retirement for one Thanksgiving Day to provide the halftime entertainment. All they'd have to do is sit a chair on the Lions logo, give him a microphone and a guitar, and let him sing about 3-4 of his songs. It'd be better than any halftime show that they've had on Thanksgiving Day in decades.

Good to see Bob is doing well. Love his music.

            • ok wizard blocked punt that-the team that did the blocking should just get away from it. if they touch it again inadvertantly and don"t control it its a free ball

same rules for FG block unless you can scoop cleanly and return just better to get away from the ball?

              • The team that blocked the kick should stay away. The only way the team that blocked it should try to recover it is if they block it backward, and can scoop it up and run for a score.

                Trust me on this.

                      • Also, Jim Harbaugh is probably the greatest football coach in the history of the game as demonstrated by his uncanny ability to produce winning football teams from dumpster fires at both the college and pro levels. His most recent magic being Michigan and the Chargers. Alonzo Stagg, Fielding Yost, Vince Lombardi and George Halas can go to the back of the line.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                        • He's better than he gets credit for. Well, he got NO credit when he was coaching Michigan, but now that he's back in the NFL, all the media wags absolutely love him.

He should still be ours. No thanks to Warde Manuel.

                          • From what I understand, Jim wanted to stay at M with reservation and that was not ameliorated by Warde stepping up to guarantee he would fully support him against all the trumped up allegations of cheating coming from both the NCAA and from Pettiti. Back when M was struggling under Jim's leadership most insiders thought Warde told Jim, in no uncertain terms, he had a year at a reduced salary, to reach certain goals, established by Warde, that we don't know about. But JH responded, culminating in an NC and 3 years of beating M's traditional rivals, MSU and OSU.

He's a gem among his peers and I consider his accomplishments at Michigan sufficient for him to chart whatever course he chooses even if he basically gave the finger to Manuel, taking the Chargers job, and leaving behind a less than optimum situation for Moore.

                            • ann arbor for multimillions or san diego for multimillions

I doubt money was part of his decision making process

                              • By the way, Jim's family still lives in Ann Arbor. They haven't sold their home yet. Jim lives in Los Angeles by himself and gets home as often as he can using the Spanos family jet.

However, they are still shopping for a home in the LaLa land area.

The man wanted to stay at Michigan. Warde Manuel's cowardace in the face of the NCAA and B1G made that impossible.

You stand behind a guy who just won you a NC. This isn't Ohio State.
