  • So the officials could have called illegal formation or illegal touching...based on their side of the story. Unfortunate series of events.

Doubt if the people watching the playoffs give much more of a damn if DallASS is playing or not. Plenty of people would be more than happy to turn on their TV and NOT see Jerry Jones smirking in his owners box.

      • Sitting at BWW with some friends; 3 of the 4 of them are actively upset because Miami is losing (the 4th won’t watch NfL). They are not Miami fans, it’s Tua, but they’re happy that the Texans are winning (DeMeco, etc) but hate that D. Henry is struggling (o-line!). Thrilled that Philly is winning (Devonta, Hurts, etc). They are also upset at Mac Jones being benched in NE (unfair! Not his fault!).

Am I the only one who doesn’t really care once the player leaves their(my) university? Because I don’t. Not at all. I never have. Whether it was Derrick Thomas, Cornelius Bennett, Joe Namath, whomever. I don’t care. Sure, succeed, whatever. But it’s just not a concern of mine.

        I’m alone in this?

          • Looks like the NFL crew from the Lions game last night may lose their playoff assignments due to the bad call.

I never really understood this. If a player is not on "my" team, I really don't give a shit about him.

I was stationed with a guy from Alabama at Destin Fl when Ozzie Newsome was in his last couple of years with the Browns. We would watch football and every time Ozzie would make a play he'd look over at me and say "You know where he went to school, don't you". I would just laugh at him. Ozzie Newsome had been out of the college for 15 damn years. Ha!

                  • The crew that reffed the Lions/Cowboys game has been assigned to Ravens/Steelers. Why the heck are they being given that significant a game?
