The "Bear" - dude who covers the betting lines for FOX. "Where would you bet Jim Harbaugh is coaching in 2024?"
Answer: Chargers.
He sees the Chargers as the best fit for Harbaugh between that team and the Bears. West coast, good player situation, great stadium. Thinks JH should avoid Kevin Warren, former BT Commissioner, who's now in the Bears' front office
He also opines that Alabama will be a slight favorite at kick-off in the Rose. So, he urges, hold your bets on M for a while. If you like M, you'll probably get a pick-'em and maybe UAT as a slight favorite.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

I was a big Lions fan when Alex Karis was around and before the Barry Sanders episode that ended his and the Lion's competitiveness. That was a long time ago. Because I was bored yesterday, I watched all three NFL network football broadcasts - the one I really wanted to see was the Lions and Broncos game. I didn't watch the Lion's two previous losses to teams they had beaten earlier in the season but I noted it with disgust - same old Lie-Downs.
Not so fast. Dan Campbell has infused a a young Lions team led by a veteran QB with a whole lot of energy and swagger both sides of the ball. While Denver isn't that great, they were on a big 6 game run coming into Detroit. The Lions absolutely blew them out. Goff threw 5 TDs and the run game paved the Broncos D - that's unusual in the pass heavy games the NFL is featuring these days. It was 21 zip at the half when I turned it off. Woke up this morning to read the Lions had won 42-17. Moving to 10-4, they lead the North Division of the NFC and are on-track for a play-off birth - the first, if they make it - since '93,Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. I've got to hand it to the Lions too. They had every excuse available to 'lie-down' for the rest of the season, because of how badly things have gone over the last 3-4 games. Instead, they came out on fire, and built a strong first half lead. When the Broncos came downfield on their first 2nd half drive, and scored a TD, the Lions responded, and got one of their own, to basically nullify what the Broncos had just done. Sean Payton acknowledged that the Lions beat them in every facet of the game.
So as Jeff noted, they are at 10-4, and are one win away from winning the division, and qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in decades. Good for them.
