There has always been a special bond between Sparty and the Lions going back to even Darryl Rogers for MSU to the Lions HC. For years it was "Lions will not draft Wolverines", I was bummed when they took Hutch.
There also has been a bond with Michigan and the Red Wings - Tyrone Wheatley was the Denver Broncos RB coach & he said he would purposely wear a
Red Wing shirt daily. They brought the cup to the facility when the Avs won & asked him to take a picture. He said "no I do not" while wearing a Red Wings shirt.
Mike and his legion of fans were the very silent majority who approved of Brady and not Henson. He also was really saying Boo-urns at the Springfield Movie Festival.

You have no idea WTF you’re talking about. Stick to soccer and the worst franchise in the history of sports. You know… your lane.
While the sentiment is generally correct, in this rare instane, Froot is actually right. The point being that virtually everyone from that god-forsaken state -- be it Sparty, Brady cockgobbler, Lion fan, Kareem-hater, Gretch-lover, etc -- is a total fucking social deviant assmoron barely capable of sustaining their own life let alone accurately opining on the lives of others.
So, you know, stick to your STFU lane
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
I'm not sure that is what I was saying. But make sure you remember that Tom Brady as a Wolverine was about as popular as Steven Threet and less popular than Jon Navarre. Boo-urns.

100% fucking wrong but that's your MO. No surprises here.
The real world UM fans were pretty much split during the Brady/Henson stint. Lots of M fans loved Brady, and Henson had a lot of support as well. By the end of Brady's final season, it was apparent to most that it was a mistake to keep giving Henson time, because Brady got better with each game. Even Lloyd Carr admitted that he should have stuck with Brady more.
The purpose for giving Henson playing time was in hopes of keeping him at Michigan, instead of going to baseball. That threat was always hanging in the air. He ended up doing that anyway, even though he was the top dog, and Brady was long gone.
And golly gee .. Mr. Talent has taken a page from AOC's page yesterday ... ye gads ...
LOL at the woman in the background ... "I better agree with this if I want to keep my job "...

I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
I try to avoid listening to AOC, so I'm not watching that nonsense. HOWEVER, if she, like the bulk of humanity, thinks folks from Michigan are irredeemable twatwaffle assmorons then she is, for once in her life, right.

My son is a U-M alum, and has been fully indoctrinated in its liberalism. My one regret about sending him there. But he's no fan of AOC either, so I guess there is hope for him.
