I'm a little puzzled as to why he'd go to a team and HC that is absolutely OWNED by Ohio State, when he had a secure job at Ohio State, and could have continued to dominate Penn State.

Welp, with a mass exodus on the coaching staff, Penn State primed to finally be good enough to survive Frames Janklin, and M paying out $25M for 3 players, the future is bleak. Really bleak. So, I'll remind myself of the better times -- since 2002, Ohio State has lost 41 games. The next best P5 program is UAT at 56 (they only forfeited wins during this period). And of those 41, a whopping 7 came during the Year of Fickell. So, 34 losses in 21 seasons under Tressel, UFM and CRD (238-34).
