Thank goodness Ohio State landed Will Howard instead of Cam Ward in the transfer portal. I imagine Ohio State still defeats M and makes the CFP, but there’s a big difference between those two QBs. The difference of being a championship favorite vs being in the mix. A 1st RD QB vs Sean Clifford 2.0 with better talent around him.

Huge game this weekend.

Curious what Ohio State’s regular season record is in recent years if you exclude the 3 Michigan (aka binoculars boys) games. Seems like they find a way almost all of the time… such as in that epic 2023 @ ND game.

Hoping for a good one. I think it’s a great test for Will Howard and my Sean Clifford comp. Test his ability to throw the ball in the intermediate part of the field. There’s no question his skills players are amazing. I can’t recall being more impressed with a freshman WR than Jeremiah Smith. Living up to or surpassing his recruiting profile. The fact that he’s winning on the outside … impressive.

They should sail right thru Oregon. Multiple touchdown win. They have the best talent in the conference, and arguably the best in the nation. There's no reason why they shouldn't come away with a very impressive win.
