  • Teams that would have beaten Michigan on Saturday. And this list is not the total list.

    Georgia
    Oregon
    Notre Dame
    Ohio State
    Florida State
    Utah
    USC
    Texas
    Alabama

    ---

    and maybe even

    TAMU
    Clemson
    Penn State
    Florida

    ---

And I'm sure there's more. Michigan is nowhere near midseason or late season form yet. They have a long way to go, and a lot of toughening up to do.

    • Ok ... I found what Lou Holtz said. He was running his mouth about the Irish being tougher than OSU. I don't know how to link Twitter or I'd put it here. Its on Adam Schefter's twitter feed.

PS abused Iowa: 28 - 4 first downs, 76 yards for Iowa and ToP - PS 45 min to 14 for IO. I mean they should be higher than UM as they have demolished their opponents while Michigan has galywaged and pussyfooted their way to 4 -0.

        • Yeah, that 4-0 for Michigan is misleading. They've beaten teams that they were supposed to beat, but there are teams coming up that will push them hard. How they react to that is a big unknown right now. JJ looked lost last week against Bowling Green when he threw those picks. And he air mailed a handful of passes against Rutgers as well.

          • God, I hate both teams, thought ND was going to pull out the win until the dropped int, glad they didn't. RFD in tears. He is feeling the pressure of being born on 3rd base, really Lou Holtz, doesn't he know every team playing ND is soft according to Lou? Ohio against the world? lol Oh well, The hell with Notre Dame!

            • Notre Dame had just 10 men on the field for the final two plays of the game lol too bad!

              • The funny thing is that HARBAUGH!!!!! is actually John Cooper 2.0. His career is almost a spot-on match. Have success in the P10/12? Check. Inherit a big-time program left in a bad spot by his predecssor? Check. Fail to beat your rival for 5 years? Check. Horrific "bowl/post-season" record? Check. Build a couple really good teams that fail? Check.

I mean, the stat everyone trotted out against Coop was his record in his final 2 games, which was like 3-13-1 after Year 8. What's HARBAUGH!!!!'s record vs OSU + Postseason?

Now, what M has going for them is that CRD isn't even anywhere close to John Cooper. He's Brady Hoke 2.0. That's the real problem. There's no way Ohio State can win w/ CRD. So, yeah....it's not good...

                • Well, the OSU I saw yesterday against ND would have beaten M by 2 touchdowns had they played yesterday.

Could Michigan get better between now and November 25? Sure. And they probably will. But will it be enough to overcome the obvious talent edge?

                  Remains to be seen.

McCord became of age last night in the 4th quarter.

Yeah, you guys really do hate old Coop, don't you? It wasn't really meant as an insult, since outside of ohio, he's considered a pretty decent coach- outside of, well, against one particular team. He didn't actually inherit a dumpster fire when Bruce left - if was more like when Carr left than what RRod/Hoke set up - and he pretty much had ohio as a serious Big Ten powerhouse for about 51 weeks out of every year.

You guys should be thankful that he didn't do to your team what that series of assclowns have been doing to MSU in the last 50 years.

As for the Harbaugh comparison, well that's interesting. He's shown some flashes of brilliance, for sure, but for each of those, there's been more than a share of head scratching, frustrating WTFs (all of which have been infinitely discussed in this forum). He's like Carr. He's like Bo. And yes, he's a little bit like Cooper. He says and does stupid stuff. He is what he is. He wins most of the time. He's brought this program back to some sort of relevance on the National level. Still, he's a bit of a self-made disappointment.

It could be worse for either one of us. We could be MSU.. or Nebraska.

                          • I'm positive RFD emotional meltdown after the game, then double down on an 86 year old man in a wheelchair with "We had one bad Half" in the last (whatever) isn't really directed at Holtz. HARBAUGH!! is clearly in his head.
