Indiana may be decent on defense. Ohio State is probably not good on offense. And Indiana is definitely horrific on offense.

The program is dead. And the fanbase is full of lunatics.
That said, recruiting doesn't seem to be a problem. Maybe you could pop up that graphic you were pimping in March and we could revisit....Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Edit: One thing that occurred to me is that they might have made some changes to their offense to address the losses to Michigan and that means that they will look bad in some games where they previously looked really good. It looked like they were more committed to running the ball than years past.Last edited by Hannibal; September 6, 2023, 07:17 AM.

It was also the first game with a new QB and reshuffled OL. If you didn't watch the game, the best throw McCord made was a TD pass to Harrison that was called back because he was pushed out of bounds and didn't make an attempt to immediately re-establish. And his interception came on a 4th and 2 where they were going to hit the FB (Traynaum) for a 1st and maybe a TD, but the infernal LB who was beat nailed him at the LoS and knock him down -- so McCord had to throw it somewhere -- it was 4th. That's probably 11 points.
But the offense was way clunky and they spent way too much time doing what they don't do well. But, I think it became fairly apparently to CRD that they weren't going to dice up IU and that IU couldn't move the ball, so he did, in fact, Tresselball his way to a gross, gross win.
If they can't pass against YSU then I'll officially waive the white flag. If they can't run against against YSU then it'll be merely disappointing. But I sort of expect it.
I do think the defense is a undervalued unit -- like they could be pretty good. IU was god-fucking-awful so not much to take from it, but in the past few years they've managed to give up points to god awful offenses. So....Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

M and OSU will be a Top Ten matchup by Thanksgiving weekend.
OSU is too talented to not be in the Top Ten by then.
Both M and OSU have their warts this year, and could very well stumble along the way, but both are also solid football teams, and quite talented.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
