I guess I get making fun of Herbstreit. Eh, fine. But I would think the comparison would be to Desmond Howard, who is pretty much a ginormous tool. I wouldn't necessarily think of implying a Herbstreit to HARBAUGH!!!! comparison.
It's all very confusing. I've also thought Herbstreit was a mostly vapid, empty slogan color guy. Sort of the HARBAUGH!!!! of color commentators, if you will. So maybe that works after all.
