If he's really going to leave, there aren't a ton of places where standards will be even lower than they are at OSU. At least not that we know of. OSU has been handed a few opportunities to act with decency in this current decade and failed spectacularly.Comment

As I understand it, Buchanan, UFM is looking at serious State Law charges for deleting texts. So, until that clears up, I'm not sure how he gets hired by the Cowboys. I've also heard Manchester United. We'll see.
I love the anatomy of a ridiculous rumor. This is literally a Paul Finebaum rumor, though he doesn't specify where he goes. LOL. And it's all based on this notion that UFM is fed up with Ohio State. I'd submit that if that were actually the case he'd have just resigned and moved on. Why on earth come back for 9 games to then just move? Good lord.
Things are running smoothly. 2019 class will be a bit down, but that's ok after the 2017 and 2018 classes. The 2020 class is setting up to be stupid good. He's looking at a more talented roster each of the next couple years. Hopefully Haskins is back for one more, but even if he isn't, the prognosis is solid. Indeed ...... but I still hold that at the outset, he was victimized by the rush to judgement so prevalent in our age of outrage. What happened after that, how he handled himself and what was revealed about his handling of ZS in particular is another thing. You have to keep those two issues separated.
I think osu absolutely made a laughable circus act of everything after the recommendations and the results of the investigation looking into this was were made public. I would have stonewalled that for a month until osu's and ufm's shenanigans became no-longer news-worthy. I also didn't like ufm's interview with ESPN but it revealed the extent of his butt hurt that has given rise to these muted rumors that he might be considering a move. Frankly, all things considered, it would not be completely unreasonable on his part.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. USC has Clay Helton. Clay would be the 6th best coach in the SEC or the BigTen, tops. Pretty sad for a team like the Trojans.

I agree Clay Helton is pretty much a simpleton better at PR taking care of dying old ladies than coaching football. He could be gone sooner rather than later and if meyer's people were to make inquiries, you can bet they would be addressed in a positive way.
Anyone see the hour long piece on ESPN's game day about how kind Clay Helton was to the old lady - granting her field access and playing up the fight she was undergoing to motivate his players? Nice ..... or kinda sick depending on your viewpoint.
Kinda reminded me of the other piece they did that same day last Saturday on Harbaugh taking his team to Paris. Both of them tear jerkers ..... and I was waiting for Michigan to eat Frost's heart and pummel his players with cruelty unknown to man-kind. Meyer at the Cowboys is a pretty good rumor. You don't even have to be mad at OSU to want to go to the Cowboys. He would be a giant upgrade over the Clapper. It would make sense for meyer and the Cowboys, but Jones would have to give up control. Good luck with that.Comment
