Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Yes, he is very good at what he does. I never thought he was much of a columnist, and don't pay much attention to his show, but he has his schtick down pat.

    • When he wrote for the Press-Register, he was a respected, award-winning columnist and investigative sports journalist. That was a ton of years ago. You were probably in the CG at the time. But as he once said, he got tired of having to clip coupons and made a change. It's paid off, no doubt.

      • His schtick paved the way for the Colin Cowherds, Clay Travis's and Skip Bayless's. And for that I will never forgive him.

They used to run his column in the NW Florida News when I lived in Destin. That was back when a daily newspaper was local and relevant and the first section that I would read was the sports section.

          • Ahh. Well, I thought he did a good job once, long ago. Even if he broke stories unfavorable to Bama (Langham, for example).

                • A little bit smaller than a PDJT rally. 200 folks standing in front of a stadium that sets over 105,000. But, hard to argue with the sentiment toward ESPN and the SEC.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
                  Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

                              • Well my presumption is that the rally was so sparsely attended because everyone else was too busy holding the university accountable.
