The lesson really is don't play good teams. Ohio State at 12-1, even with a loss to Iowa, is in. I think in 2019 Ohio State's OoC schedule is awful. That should be a great year for a run. Next year they'll have to win in Dallas against TCU.
Oklahoma learned the lesson last year. They're in, IMO, if they go 11-1, but the loss to OSU killed them.

Well, that's one way to look at it, Talent. I think, however, the completely inexplicable loss to Iowa is what's so confusing. There is no way that Iowa should have been within 24 points of the Buckeyes and how they not only won, but won by 31 points is completely confusing.

My final though on today is that the 2015 Buckeyes got absolutely assfucked. That was a national title "eye test" team out the ass. Np with this year's inconsistent squad out over a team with a total shit resume, but one that we know is pretty good. 2015, though. Don't feel sorry for OSU at all. They've jumped over teams into the playoff in the past; this year they came up short. Proves that Nick and the SEC carry more weight than Urban and the B1G. MSU got slobber-knocked 38 - 0 by Alabama. OSU got stomped by Clemson 31 - 0. Could have something to do with the decision not to have the Buckeyes face the Tigers again.I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

No doubt about Alabama. No other school is in at 4 with that resume. OSU gets the benefit of the doubt, but no school is in the same stratosphere as Alabama when it comes to that. Basically, their resume said "Alabama".Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

What's the pay-out on the CFP games that the BIG will miss out on having not gained a spot? And to think, most informed fans mid-season were saying the BIG was trending up and the SEC down.
I sure can't argue that the four best teams aren't in and two of them are from the SEC!Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished.
