Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

  • Zeytinia by the National Gallery? That's totally worth it. Very hit or miss -- how do you make a mediocre hummus? But when they hit OMG do they ever hit. I have had versions of Turkish classics there that are better than the best versions in Istanbul. Interesting place.

Messeria I have heard of but never gone to. Thanks the recs...

    • I've not had a huge miss there. I did send a dish back. Burnt scallops. They took care of me on it and apologized effusively. Maybe it's going down. I hope not. Reasonably priced; good service. Close in.

        • Love the statues. Hell, my userpic is now the scowl of a statue.

            • This statue of Jefferson Davis won't be around much longer if the Progs get their way. Learn from it while you still can

I think less of myself for finding that as funny as I did.

                            • Blue Smith committed to OSU over the weekend. That gives OSU 17 verbals and a 247 teams score of over 294. Smith is rated 119th by 247 and is the 12th highest rated OSU verbal. If, e.g., they were to add the verbal of Tyreke Smith then they would top 300 with 18 verbals. It appears that the time to get Ohio State is now. Unfortunately, Schiano is almost surely gone after this season and Wilson is probably gone after the next.

Related, I was watching some sort of asshat show on PJ Fleck long enough to see that he's looking for kids with 5* heart.

We'll see how that strategy works out for him.

                              Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

                              • Urban isn't done picking and choosing yet?

PJ Fleck isn't an X's or O'x guy, he's going to need to recruit well (for the West) AND have very good coordinators (we'll see). Gopher's should be happy with 6-8 wins a season from him.
