Has anyone seen JH do his interview with Cowherd (or answer any question he doesn't like)? Yeah, affable....lol...he's quirky version of The Nick.

Talent,
Nick is probably the most hostile with the media of all the college coaches. So, by extension, everyone is more affable with the media than Saban. Nick's really an asshole with them often. I truly believe he has a purpose (i.e., to deflect and obfuscate on questions he doesn't want discussed), but he makes me cringe with some of his animated media diatribes."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

The Nick has never berated a person undeserving.
HARBAUGH!!!! is, if your statement is true, be less cantankerous with the press than The Nick. That said, he's certainly had some moments that are up there. Of course, my favorite HARBAUGH!!!!! press conference was after Ohio State sent M home a loser this season. That was like a a jar of cherries on top of that awesome game.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

There's only one way for things to go from here -- BIG TIME DISAPPOINTMENT
But, it doesn't take much to dig up prognostications on this thread about how Hoke would match or exceed UFM, so I guess it's right in line with the M fanbase.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

In fairness, all I know about Saban is that he's been tremendously successful.
Meyer I've watched more closely, and I really like him. I have no complaints about his behavior.
I like Harbaugh and am happy with the Michigan program, but have to admit that Alabama and OSU have good coaches and good programs. I don't even wish OSU any bad luck ... There's enough of that as it is.
I will say that Harbaugh seems to push the envelope a bit in terms of what's really important in his job, and that's cool. But I don't follow the others as closely, and have no good reason to criticize them.
I'm just so excited about the Michigan team in the upcoming years -- lots of great recruits, good coaches, and general excitement.

.
"Isn't Saban wooden and unemotional?"
"Isn't Saban past his prime?"
"Doesn't Ole Miss beat Bama regularly?"
That way, I can answer like this: "No, no, and yes - just as regular as Halley's Comet."
Saves us both some time.Last edited by AlabamAlum; July 11, 2017, 12:59 PM."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
