          • I'm not exactly sure what you're saying there. But it's not sandbagging if that's the point. We are highly flawed.

            • 6-0.

Bamer has won the National Championship in four of the the past seven years, the best run in history.

Saban and your boys will manage.

              STFU.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

              • In 2010, we were coming off a 14-0 NC. We lost 3 games that year. This team lost more than that 2009 team. We just aren't playing well. I'm proud of them, though.

                      • Talent seems to think Michigan will beat Ohio and I agree. Michigan has the better defense. Ohio has the better offense. The difference is the coaching this year.

I am a man of science, and would never make an argument based upon gut feeling alone. But Talent himself said,
It's the Year of Harbaugh, man. It happens.
Scientifically, I posit that there is a relationship between putting yourself out there as Harbaugh has done, and winning the big game. Urban Meijers has been fine, but he hasn't matched Harbaugh's energy level, which has proven infectious.

With regard to Baron Browning, the giant bag of dicks is still up in the air.

Of course, HARBAUGH!!! "put [himself] out there" last season. Now, I realize DON BROWN!

As for Browning, it's only up in the air because he hasn't announced.

                          • Interesting, Bill Greene (writer at Scout) has OSU winning big against Wisky. Ordinarily, I'd say -- so what? But he's been really good about feeling out the games thus far. His early predictions undervalued the defense, as I think most people did.

                            BG: 52-13 (77-10)
                            Tulsa: 49-20 (48-3)
                            OU: 38-27 (45-24)
                            Rutgers: 52-13 (58-0)
                            IU: 41-17 (38-17)

More importantly, his write-ups have been fairly spot on with the exception of the defense against Tulsa. He nailed the OU game and correctly assessed that OSU was overvalued last week against IU.

Anyway, he thinks Wisconsin is WAY overrated and, in particular, he thinks their offense is total poo.

                            So, he says 38-10.

                            • 38-10 sounds about right. I think Wisky's defense is overrated. UM should have had a minimum of 23 points.

                              • There are a couple things. First, if OSU gets out early and Wisky is forced to pass, it could be really dicey for Wisky. Second, I think the more likely way it plays out is that OSU is able to move the ball a bit and Cameron Johnston -- outstanding punter who rarely punts -- is able to flip the field. If Wisky goes 3 and out the field position game will lead to OSU slowly accruing scoring chances.

As far as OSU's offense goes, Wisky tends to play back in zone a lot. M was at its most effective, IMO, with short drag/crossing routes. Those are easy throws and a good way to get JTB into rhythm. If they can take advantage of short throws and run a little between the B gaps, they'll be really tough to stop. Wisky has to win 1st and 2nd down and force JTB to go downfield.
