Thats incredible foolishness. Most M fans (and probably a few UF fans too) would watch the osu\ND if it weren't in a competing time slot. Thats lots of eyeballs lost for advertisers. You'd think the start times would be staggered. Fans lose on the current placemen of scheduling.

In the only bit of good news for OSU since they won the CFP, Pat Elflein will return. He was probably 3rd-4th round pick. He'll play center and provide much needed stability to an OL which will feature 3 new starters...really talented starters, but really young.

I may have to revise my 7-5 prediction to 8-4.

Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott cited for suspended license after car crash

Prior to Ohio State's flight to Arizona for the Fiesta Bowl, running back Ezekiel Elliott was involved in a car crash and was cited for driving with a suspended license, Columbus police told ESPN.

He was also cited for not having an operator's license and failure to control, according to Craig Calcaterra of NBCSports.com. Elliott's car hydroplaned and caused minor injuries to another driver, Calcaterra said.

The accident happened on a freeway close to Ohio State's campus.

Elliott wasn't injured, and his status for the Fiesta Bowl remains unchanged, according to a school spokesman.

The matchup against the Irish will be his final game as a Buckeye, as he's headed for the NFL draft in the spring.

The junior put up 1,672 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2015.

The Fiesta Bowl kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on Jan. 1.

If you are caught and charged with driving on a suspended license, you will face 1st degree misdemeanor charges which bring a potential 6 months in jail and fines up to $1,000 unless you're a star member of the Ohio State football program, where at worst you'll get a slap on the wrist.
