o brother ... pretty wild swings here. I think I will go with DSL's level-headed take.

I really think that history will show they completely bungled the QB situation. They don't trust Jones. I've read from numerous "insiders" that they don't let him audible. He doesn't get through his progressions. He's inaccurate on short throws. He's an average runner at best. And he's mistake-prone in nearly every way a QB can be. I'm not sure what changes over the rest of the season to fix any of that. The offense just isn't good. And at some point being -3 in turnovers will result in a loss or three.

I guess the bigger picture take away is that Ohio State managed to win the CFP with him at QB and I should count my blessings that he managed to play 2 credible games. So, that's cool.

Back to yesterday, Curtis Samuel touched the ball once yesterday. Once. The levels of stupidity in that game were shocking. Everywhere. Oh, and I didn't even mention Braxton's dumbass block below the waist -- when all he had to do was just stand there -- that cost OSU a TD and then set up a missed FG.

But the sentence was clearly talking about Bo.

I was being facetious. It wasn't to be taken seriously. Bo coached in that game and it resulted in a national championship - but not for Michigan. So to say that Bo never coached in a game wherein a win would result in a national championship is false if you look at it from the BYU perspective.

Ohio State's scarlet-and-gray combination is one of the most identifiable color schemes in college football. But the No. 1 team in the country is going away from its classic look when it hosts Penn State on Oct. 17.
Don't worry, Buckeyes fans, the new uniforms will still prominently feature the color scarlet, most notably with the numbers and helmet stripe. Nike's press release says the ensemble "characterizes the unyielding confidence of the eight-time national champions."

I think people are really overreacting to how Ohio State is playing.
They did the same thing last year and still went undefeated vs the B10.

My point: I'd bet my mortgage (or anything very valuable) that OSU will be 10-0 based on how AWFUL their competition is. Then they have MSU and Michigan.

Srsly ..... I have no idea how those two games are going to turn out. Two much water remains to pass under the bridge.

If they were played back to back on the next two Saturdays, I'd give the bucks a better than 50% chance of losing both of them.
