  • LoL ! Of course the inconsequential position Ohio coach felt compelled to flash the bling. Someone should explain to him that kiddie costume jewelry is worthless, amateur ranks on par with participation certificates.

12-0 Ohio Phantom season?!? Actually it is 13-0 if Meyers counts his spring game. LOL

        • And, of course, a WR M wanted badly committed to OSU today. Heh. What a clownshow.

          • I thought for a moment there was had a chance for brokered peace between Jew and Gentile in the Forum.

Sadly, it appears to just be clouds in my coffee.

BTW Zach Smith's got more Cubic Zirconia than Walmart!

That is probably a good thing Stan. Non access to the President's launch codes would be another.

Look, OSU is not a source of excellence in anything but bad things. So to hear that a WR committed badly to that football program is not a surprise. Nobody committs badly to Michigan. If he'd wanted to do a good job in committing he wouldn't have picked OSU in the first place.

                  • The best thing about Jedd Fisch is that it's absolutely negative recruiting. So we now have documented evidence to address that laughable canard. And, of course, it was an absolute FAIL as I'm fairly sure it was Austin Mack who received the flyer and who then sent it to Zach Smith for a good laugh.

Love it. We do need some more Jay Harbaugh handwritten notes, though.

                    • Well, negative recruiting is probably your best strategy when the alternative is bragging to recruits that you were the offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars

                      • Not an invalid argument.

As long as he wasn't fired from the Jaguars I think he should be safe. Otherwise that would be quite embarrassing. It'd be almost as bad as getting fired from the University of Minnesota.

                          • Not sure why Zach Smith chose to take this public, only further humiliating himself? The 100% factual contrast was intended for private consumption, frankly do you want to be coached and developed by a Professional coach paid millions over his career or toil in obscurity with another amateur in Ohio?

Smith like Meyer knows his limitations otherwise they would have made the jump to The Bigs long ago.

Those that can , coach in the NFL, those that can't end up at Ohio.

Case in point, if ever there was an Ohio coach since Hayes ready to become Professional at his craft surely it was Jim Tressel?

Fresh from being fired and banned from college, Jim took his resume and hat in hand to Indianapolis to interview for the HC position of the NFL Colts. Sadly Tressel was rejected but did find work for a 1/2 season as an instant replay technician of course after Goodell suspended him first after his college shenanigans.

Zach Smith, stop digging you dipshit.

                            • Ol' Jedd certainly knows how to fail in the NFL. And with the Goofers. LMAO. And now he's failing in recruiting against Zach Smith even resorting to the dreaded negative recruiting. So when he gets assrailed in November and fails yet again, he will at least be well-practiced at handling that failure.

National Championships for UFM in the past 9 years: 3
National Championships for Michigan in the entire Poll Era (79 years): 1.5

All the failed Jacksonville Jaguar OCs in the world won't make M relevant again, OP. Sorry.

For 2017, some kids I think will most likely end up in the B10: AJ Esperanza (#2 overall) will likely end up at Iowa; Trevon Grimes (#7 overall) will end up at OSU; Donovan People-Jones (#12 overall) will end up somewhere in the B10; Keyshawn Johnson Jr. (#50 overall) really likes Nebraska.
