Oregon's RichRod offense alwayes falters in big games. Big Ten wins first college playoff, no need to watch Frank except the trophy.

Stat of the night that only interests me: UFM has won 3 national titles. All against teams from different states that start with O (OSU, OU, Oregon) and all against Heisman QBs. I hope to god Okie State makes it next year!Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Ohio State don't have third string QBs...they have three first string QBs. Well, maybe not now....Collier is definitely third string.
Unthinkable.
I like this Playoff shit, though.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Yes otherwise we would have had Alabama beating FSU in the BCS while OSU and Oregon played a meaningless rose Bowl.

Congrats to Talento and his boys...you've come a long ways since Bauserman Day!
Personally, I think you have to give it up for Luke Fickell...down 4 turnovers at one point, and OU only had 17 points. That completely fucks Oregon's program design, inside-out; as I told entropy, everything they do defensively is predicated on the fact their offense will score 40 points. They cede yards, TOP and field positions in exchange for yo-yoing between blitzes and umbrella coverage aimed at creating turnovers. And they were successful at it!
Fckell's defense turned that completely around on them. They wound just ceeded yards, TOP and field position for nothing. Should have gotten beat worse.

Yeah, Fickell deserves a lot of credit for tonight. Several times I thought we were about to melt down and the defense held.
Urbz and Cardale just beat Bama and Oregon in back-to-back weeks. And both games could've been bigger blowouts but for being turnover-crazy. Impressive when you think about how different those two teams are.

I thought Oregon and Bama were the two best teams in the country so hat's off to Ohio State. They earned it. I wonder how often TCU players think about the last 10 minutes of the Baylor game. They obviously were better than FSU but how do you keep the only undefeated Power 5 team out of a 4 team playoff? You can't. TCU screwed themselves in the Baylor game and then got screwed by every team that had FSU on the ropes and couldn't finish the job. IMO, the committee had the 4 correct teams in the playoff even though TCU was better than FSU. If that makes any sense.
Oh well. This playoff was certainly better than watching Bama drill FSU by 40 for the title.
