Burrell might have trouble getting an offer, he's an interior lineman when M likely prefers OT types to go with Runyan... Surprised Settle didn't get an offer, maybe they want to see junior game tape or they just don't think he's a good fit.

Probably he's too lazy to fit in, just like Hand at OSU. He's been to campus, he's dropping M's, hanging out with other recruits, and apparently friends with Hand. Not that I'm aware of. I'd expect an offer very, very soon (or never) as they only have one DT spot left with Pallante gray-shirting as he's essentially a class of '15 recruit.Comment

On hoops front, Okafor is likely down to MSU and Duke and, in any event, not Ohio State. So, they've moved on to Myles Turner in their quest for a 5* pivot. Turner is probably KU or Arizona -- probably KU -- but he's at least set up an OV.
A top-shelf center would take a really good class to elite levels. And with 2015 looking extremely promising, those classes could keep Matta's run going for awhile longer even without Craft.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Ah. He has tons of talent. I think his ranking is predicated almost entirely on measurables. He's big, reasonably fast and shows good athelticism. He's still learning the game, though. And for me, I always lean more toward production than measurables, especially when a kids plays against good competition. He hasn't been as productive as he should be, IMO, but I also think that will come.
Also, since he's pretty much off my radar, I haven't even been following to see if he's back in the States for the season. I'll ask my uncles in Warren what they think about him, too.
