I don't follow ohio athletics as closely as most here so I'm just looking for some baseline information.
I'll like to try to help you, Mike, if you were wanting baseline information to set up some sort of spreadsheet. As for the UFM crime/arrest information while at UF, here's a good primer with lots of information:

It shouldn't be too difficult to sort and categorize to set up that part of the baseline info.

On the other hand, though, I'd rather not be the one trying to provide "facts" on the crime/arrest baseline data to use in regards to UFM and The ohio. Why is this, you might ask? Simple. All I can provide you with are baseless claims, while the Talent can provide you with FACTS.

At least as the facts stand now. Neither the alleged victim nor Hyde have been interviewed. Eh.

I guess it's then OK to smack " yo' ho' " just a little? Provided it's not a felony pimp hand of course? So a little physical violence towards women is to be expected, I guess?

Meyer will likely draw that subtitle distinction as Hyde suits up for Buffalo.

Linesman has politely asked us not to talk about OP that way.

              • The Meyer/Hernandez connection brought up again on Sports Reporters this morning. Latest Hoke news was his offer of tickets to kid who beat cancer in Ohio.

                • Yeah, but sports reporters are among the most hypocritical people on the face of the earth. If Meyer comes into Michigan Stadium and beats Hoke this year, they'll be slobbering all over him just like they did when he was at Florida.

If he wins football games, bad things get forgotten quickly. Just ask any OlieO fan.

Either that or they are -- some of them at least -- adults capable of recognizing that being a winner and being an honorable competitor are not one and the same. Frankly I think it's pretty easy to find actual hypocrisy out there. And, in Ohio, there's no hypocrisy at all. They are not pretending to care how it gets done there. They'll take it thuggish or however.

                    • Michigan's higher in the alltime Fulmer Standings than we are. Significantly so. If we recruit thugs and have an out-of-control atmosphere then Michigan is even worse.

Facts are a Michigan Man's kryptonite.

                      • Yeah but most of those arrests came in the 10s, 20s and 30s...

(Srsly, whatever the Fulmer stats are, they do a shit job of measuring if that's the case. Note the difference between UM refusing to hang the Fab Five banners, or even compete in basketball for chrissakes for 15 years, compared with feteing Tressell on the field a year later. You and I both know what's what here.)

                        • In a nutshell, ohio embraces and honors their wrongdoers, while Michigan removes wrongdoers from the program, and distances itself from them.

I don't remember anyone carrying Ed Martin or Steve Fisher on their shoulders on the basketball court after their foibles were exposed.

                                1) It's been posted already at least twice. Maybe the third time's the charm?

                                [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulmer_Cup"]Fulmer Cup - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

                                2) The Fulmer Cup only measures criminal behavior, not NCAA stuff. It also gives more points for more serious crimes. It's only been around since 2006 but since that time, Michigan is 26th. OSU is 61st. Dance around this however much you want, but the facts are simply facts. Michigan players have been arrested more often and possibly for more serious charges than OSU players have since 2006 at least.

And this is a far more objective measurement than the barely literate tripe spewed here about how our players are thugs and how Michigan would never allow such scum on their team.
