Re Smith: One of the things about ufm's offense is that it is simple by design.

This obviously has it's advantages over the short term of a player's career but you can see the long term implications for a player of Smith's talent moving into the NFL.

I see an opportunity for negative recruiting for programs in competition with osu for top HS WR talent. Go there, get 3 or 4 years in Meyer's system and you'll have a hard time competing for and keeping a roster spot in the NFL. Come here to (insert team) where we'll bring you along the right way.

No. He's suspended 1 game.

As a point of reference, he'll miss as many games as Graham Glasgow did when he blew 0.13 (would have been an auto 2-game suspension at OSU) and 1 more game than Glasgow did when he violated his probation and tested at 0.086 on a Sunday morning.

According to school policy, a first-offense alcohol incident subjects a player to "more stringent alcohol testing," and a failed test by a player under 21 means a two-game suspension, but it's unclear whether any of this carries an automatic suspension in this case. Ohio State seems to disagree that it does.
